1920 Triumph

500cc and putting out a massive 4 horsepower...

No twist throttles back then. Those levers controlled fuel/air mix, speed, ignition timing, etc
Yes, those are the brakes - just like on your ten speed.



Belt drive repairs were simpler and cheaper ninety years ago.

Haze Gray and Underway

These pics were taken at the Barber Motorsports Museum near Birmingham, Alabama. We've all seen U.S. Army Harley Davidsons all over the place. This was the first U.S. Navy bike I'd ever seen. Being a Navy veteran, I had to take pictures.



Of course, although it's a military vehicle, it's not Olive Drab. It's a Navy vehicle, so it's only fitting that it be Haze Gray.
